Allardyce Named England Manager, Vows To Make Country Proud

Allardyce

Sam Allardyce has been named as England’s new manager.

The former Bolton, Newcastle and Sunderland boss was confirmed as his country’s head coach on Friday.
Allardyce replaces Roy Hodgson, who quit after leading England to a humiliating defeat to Iceland at Euro 2016.
“I am extremely honoured to be appointed England manager,” Allardyce said in an official statement.
“For me, it is absolutely the best job in English football.”
“We have to make the country proud. I know we have talented, committed players – it is time for @England to deliver.”
