Arsenal Fan Chases Wenger In The Beach And Begs Him To Sign This Player [Video]

While the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have been splashing the cash over the past few weeks, Arsenal have been fairly quiet.

The north London outfit may well have secured the services of Switzerland international Granit Xhaka for a fee in the region of £30 million, but it’s fair to say that fans of the club had been hoping for one or two more high-profile names to arrive at the Emirates.

With the Premier League season just two weeks away, Arsenal appear to be behind their rivals in the pursuit of claiming the title.

There is, of course, still time for Wenger and co. to act, but they must make their move sooner rather than later.

As it stands, the club are set to enter the new season with the duo of Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud as their main attacking options. Fans clearly believe that an upgrade is required but that may not transpire.

Then there’s the Gunners’ defence; Per Mertesacker is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, while Gabriel hasn’t been able to produce the goods on a consistent basis.
France international Laurent Koscielny is certainly one of the best defenders in the league, but he’s in need of greater help.

In all honesty, then, landing a new striker and defender over the coming weeks would satisfy fans of the club.

But there’s every chance that Wenger could snub recruiting in the aforementioned two positions and add yet another attacking midfielder to his ranks.
That’s because the club have long been linked with a move for Leicester City playmaker Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez was named the Premier League Player of the Year last season after guiding the Foxes to the title, but it’s uncertain as to whether he will depart the King Power Stadium.
One thing is certain, however; Arsenal fans would love to see him star for their club next season.

And one fan in particular has made his feeling clear to Wenger according to, GiveMeSport. As you can see in the video below, the Arsenal supporter chased Wenger down the beach to beg the Frenchman to sign Mahrez.
