Cristiano Ronaldo's Mother Reacted To Payet's Tackle On Her Son
Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother has reacted to her son’s substitution following a horror tackle from Dimitri Payet.
Ronaldo’s mother Dolores Aveiro has opened up about her son’s injury at the European Championship against France. West Ham United midfielder Payet collided with the Real Madrid star as the former was trying to snatch the ball away from the Portugal captain and engineer a quick counter attack in favor of the hosts.
As a result, the 31-year-old winger was sent off for treatment but the situation become worse moments after returning onto the pitch. He was finally substituted by coach Fernando Santos. And that is when a mother’s love came into play with this brilliant but emotional Tweet:
Eu não posso vê-lo desta forma o meu filho. O jogo é chutar a bola e não ferir o adversário.#Euro2016Final pic.twitter.com/TQ7u4ercpf— Dolores Aveiro (@DoloresAveiro) July 10, 2016
