Zlatan Ibrahimovic will make his debut for Manchester United in Saturday’s friendly against Galatasaray after being named in Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up, Goal reports.

The game, taking place in Ibrahimovic’s native Sweden, marks the first time the former PSG man will have been seen in a United shirt after being given an extended pre-season break by Mourinho.

Ibrahimovic arrived at United’s Carrington training ground for the first time on Thursday and was seen laughing and joking with his new team-mates. His appearance in Gothenburg is his first since Sweden’s early exit from Euro 2016, after which he announced his international retirement.

David de Gea and Wayne Rooney also make their first appearances of pre-season, with French pair Morgan Schneiderlin and Anthony Martial lining up in starting XI as well.

The fixture is United’s first since the cancellation of their proposed Manchester derby in Beijing on Monday due to severe weather caused problems with the pitch at the Bird’s Nest Stadium.

United have so far won one and lost one in pre-season, beating Wigan 2-0 before going down 4-1 to Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai.

Manchester United starting line-up: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Shaw; Schneiderlin, Herrera, Mkhitaryan; Rooney, Ibrahimovic, Martial.
