Barcelona Superstar Luis Suarez Reveals The Club He Absolutely HATES Playing Against

AFP/GETTY
Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez scored a scarcely believable 59 goals last season, and to add to the red and blue cherry on the La Liga trophy-shaped cake, the former Liverpool star added 16 assists to further emphasise his status as a truly global footballing superstar.
La Liga defences up and down in Spain have struggled to tie down the elusive Uruguayan and it is no surprise to see the striker enter the hallowed turf of the Nou Camp and away grounds with his famous wide grin.
But there is one team that gives Suarez no pleasure at all, according to 90min. The rugged and well-oiled machine that is Atletico Madrid.
Despite scoring twice against the 2013/14 La Liga champions in the Champions League last season, the Barcelona star has revealed he hates playing against them and his national teammate, Diego Godin.
The 29-year-old told Spanish media:
“I’ll tell you that there’s nothing that thrills me less than playing against Atlético. They’re so annoying. There’s Godin, who is a nuisance, he’s always there next to me. He annoys me a lot, but I do that to him too.”
Suarez is not alone in his sentiments, as a number of Bayern Munich stars revealed their unhappiness with Atleti’s style after their Champions League semi-final loss last season.
But defences all around Spain will not have an ounce of sympathy for Suarez as they would probably describe him running rings around them as “annoying” too!
