Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has denied reports that manager Antonio Conte has told him that he can leave the club, saying that he is fully committed to playing for the Blues this season.
The 29-year-old has played just a handful of minutes in the club’s three Premier League games under Conte, coming off the bench against Watford to ping a brilliant pass towards Diego Costa for the Blues’ winner.
Some have taken the Spaniard’s lack of game time as a hint that he is on the verge of being shown the door at Stamford Bridge, but he took to Twitter on Sunday night as reported by 90min to insist:
“Contrary to what has been written, the manager and I have a good relationship and he has NEVER told me that I can leave.”
