Everton's Yannick Bolasie Claims He Has Beaten World's Fastest Man Usain Bolt In A Race

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has made an outrageous claim that he is faster than Olympic champion Usain Bolt after suggesting he beat him in a race, 90min reports.
According to the Sun, the Toffees’ £25m summer signing has suggested that it isn’t just defenders that he torments and runs rings around – it is also the world’s fastest man and current 100m world record holder Usain Bolt after the two met when playing five-a-side.
Bolasie spoke of how the Jamaican athlete had been spending some time in London, and invited him down to have a light-hearted match, but the former Crystal Palace forward suggested that it got very competitive between the two, and even said he had him in a flat out foot-race.
“I’ve played football with him,” said Bolasie.
“We played a game at pitch somewhere in Chelsea, just a little muck around. I know his mates and the people who manage him.”
“He was knocking around in London and wanted a game of football, so they invited me along.”
“It was around about this time last year. Is he any good? He’s all right, to be fair! I had him in a race!”
Everton manager Ronald Koeman and the Goodison Park faithful will be hoping to be seeing Olympic-style speed from their new summer signing this weekend as the 27-year-old and his teammates travel down to Bournemouth with their unbeaten record in the Premier League still in tact, and sitting pretty in second place in the standings thus far.
