VIDEO: James Rodriguez Scores Training Ground Stunner After 'Elastico' Nutmeg

Real Madrid forward James Rodriguez has seen his uncertain future at the club become a hot topic of conversation over the last six months, but the Colombian is still seemingly doing the business of the training pitch after a crafting a goal from a stunning piece of skill.
James pulled out the ‘elastico’ to nutmeg one of his colleagues before firing high into the goal, 90min reports.
A calf injury forced the player to miss the weekend’s win over Real Betis in La Liga, while he had to be left out of Colombia’s squad for the recent World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Uruguay.
Colombian legend Carlos Valderrama recently told AS that he nor his fellow countrymen and women can get their head around why James has had so much negative press in Madrid.
“His first year he was the star. Then came the problems and he started to play much less, but he always performed. What is the problem with James? That is what all Colombians would like to know,” Valderrama said.
“They do not leave James alone at Real Madrid, ever since [Carlo] Ancelotti left, his quiet time is over. If he sets up a goal…he is bad. If he scores a goal…he is bad. If he comes to play for Colombia…he is bad. If he gets injured…he is bad.”
