Anthony Martial’s Girlfriend Terrifyingly Flips Car On Way To Pick Up Frenchman From Training

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial was shocked to find out that his girlfriend, Melanie Da Cruz, was involved in a terrifying car-crash while on her way to pick the 20-year-old up from training this weekend, 90min reports.

The 25-year-old French actress was on her way to pick up Martial from United’s Carrington training complex when she swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle, going straight into a ditch before rolling her two-seater Smart car.

Da Cruz, who has only become romantically involved with Martial this year following the Frenchman’s split from his wife Samantha Jacquelinet, reportedly escaped the smashed up car, visibly shaken and scared, before being saved by a passing tractor who took her to the United training complex.

A source told The Sun:

“Melanie had been trying to get out the way of another car when she just drove into the large ditch and rolled her car on to its side.

“She was very shaken up and just sat on the side of the road waiting for someone to come and pick her up.

“She eventually got free of the car which was a bit of a mess and was taken to Anthony who consoled her.”

Three weeks ago Da Cruz posted an image to Instagram in her brand new Smart car, the post was accompanied with the caption:

“S.M.A.R.T #manchester.”

But now she will have to look for a new car as hers was described as ‘a bit of a mess’, Anthony Martial’s 65k-a-week wage should just about cover it, though.
