Nigeria's Olympic Opponents Destroy South Africa In Friendly

Nigeria U-23s Group B opponents in the men’s football event at the Rio Olympics, Japan, defeated South Africa U-23 side 4-1 in the Kirin Cup Challenge in Matsumoto, Japan on Wednesday.
South Africa took the lead through Gift Motupa who converted a 30th minute penalty after a Japanese player handled the ball inside the box.
But Japan came back into the game when they made it 1-1 after scoring in the 36th minute.
In the 44th and 45th minutes, Japan scored two quick goals to end the first half 3-1.
And in the 47th minute in the second half, Japan scored the fourth goal.
Japan are drawn with Nigeria, Sweden and Colombia in Group B in the men’s football event at this year’s Olympic Games.
South Africa are in Group A with hosts Brazil, Denmark and Iraq.
