Barcelona Hoping To Axe Three Players This Summer

Marca have today released a report revealing the 76 players that have been put up for sale in La Liga.
It’s fair to say that a number of high-profile names feature on the list, including three players from Barcelona.

Indeed, the report indicates that the Catalans are ready to offload the trio of Adriano, Thomas Vermaelen and Douglas ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

It’s not entirely surprising that Adriano looks set to leave the Camp Nou – the club have just purchased French full-back Lucas Digne. Italian outfit Lazio are currently the favourites to secure the player’s signature.

Vermaelen, meanwhile, has endured a tricky time at Barcelona since arriving from Premier League outfit Arsenal and has been linked to the likes of West Ham United and Liverpool recently.
