Mikel, Moses Begin Pre-Season Training With Chelsea

Super Eagles skipper Mikel Obi and his compatriot Victor Moses resumed pre-season with Chelsea on Monday at Cobham after their summer break.

The duo joined up with the rest of the squad after they underwent medical screening.

They were spotted alongside the club’s player of the season Willian, Oscar Emboaba, Kurt Zouma andLoic Remy in a picture posted by Chelsea skipper John Terry on Instagram.

While Mikel was a regular for Chelsea after the exit of Jose Mourinho, Victor Moses was on a season-long loan spell at West Ham.

During the pre-season, Chelsea will travel to Austria this Friday for a week-long training camp and will face Rapid Vienna on Saturday before a clash against WAC RZ Pellets at the Worthersee Stadion, Klagenfurt four days later.

Next up for Chelsea is a trip to the US for the International Champions Cup where they will take on English Premier League rivals Liverpool on Wednesday, July 27 at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena before taking on European Champions Real Madrid on the 30th in Michigan and AC Milan at the US Bank Stadium, Minneapolis August 3.

Mikel has made 372 appearances for the Blues since making his debut for the club ten years ago.
