Juanfran Reveals What His Son Said After Missing Decisive Penalty In Champions League Final

Speaking to a Spanish radio show called ‘El Larguero’, broadcast by Cadena SER, Atletico Madrid and Spain defender Juanfran revealed what his 6-year-old son said to him soon after the player missed what proved to be the decisive spot kick in last season’s Champions League final, 90min reports.

Speaking in the build-up to Wednesday’s mouthwatering clash between Barcelona and Atletico at Camp Nou, Juanfran confessed:

”I was in the locker room after the game, and my son came in and he reassured me. He told me not to worry, to remain calm. My son is phenomenal.”
