Alexis Sanchez Beats Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott To Arsenal’s September Player Of The Month Award

Chile star, Alexis Sanchez, has been named Arsenal September Player of the Month ahead of Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott, Complete Sports Nigeria reports.

Iwobi finished third after securing 18.4 per cent of the votes.

Sanchez who scored four times in five games, including a vital equaliser at Paris Saint-Germain, a brace at Hull and the opener against Chelsea, earned 39.4 per cent of the votes to emerge winner.

Walcott had 23.2 per cent of the votes to finish second.

Meanwhile, Iwobi is currently with the Super Eagles preparing for this Sunday’s FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Ndola.

The 20-year-old scored two goals in Wednesday’s warm up game between the Eagles and Plateau United which ended 3-0 in favour of the Eagles.
