Success Makes Watford Debut In Pre-Season Win, Ighalo Unlucky
Nigerian forward Isaac Success made his Watford debut in a pre-season friendly against Stevenage on Thursday.
The ex-Flying Eagles star joined the Premier League club last week for a club record £12.5 million.
Success replaced Adlene Guedioura in the 75th minute as Watford defeated the fourth-tier Stevenage 2-0.
Etienne Capoue’s 50th minute goal and Jerome Sinclair’s strike in stoppage time settled the match in which Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo went close to scoring several times.
