Rohr Promises To Qualify Super Eagles For 2018 World Cup

ROHR
Newly appointed Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has stated that the three-time African champions have what it takes to not only qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup but also go very far in the competition.

On Tuesday, the Nigeria Football Federation confirmed the appointment of Rohr as the Super Eagles’ new handler. The former Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso coach signed a two-year contract with the NFF.
Speaking after his appointment, Rohr however stated that for the Eagles’ to make it to the 2018 World Cup and perform, all hands must be on deck.
“I have a German heart – the heart of a winner,” he told the NFF official website.
“I have confidence that with the right atmosphere and the right support, the Super Eagles have the capacity not only to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, but get to the latter stages of the competition.”
The Eagles will kick off their qualifying campaign away to Zambia in Lusaka in October.
Other teams in the group are Cameroon and Algeria.
