Mats Hummels Reacts To Usain Bolt Training With Borussia Dortmund

So, Usain Bolt is training with Borussia Dortmund and the footballing world can’t really believe it.

Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed that the nine-time Olympic champion will train with the Bundesliga giants in a move that has baffled many people, reports GiveMeSport.

While we’re not quite sure just how good the Jamaican’s footballing skills are, his incredible pace will definitely put fear in many defenders.

And it seems that Bayern Munich are already a little bit scared. The Bavarians face Dortmund this weekend and cheekily asked their upcoming opponents on Twitter if he would be available to play this weekend.

And the Bayern defender saw the funny side and sarcastically replied

Of course, Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is considered one of the fastest players in world football and Hummels will have a tough job to keep him quiet during Saturday’s match at the Signal Iduna Park.

But imagine facing a strike force of Bolt and Aubameyang. The pace would be quite ridiculous.

When the reports of Bolt training with Dortmund emerged a few days ago, it was difficult to believe. Despite both Dortmund and Bolt being sponsored by German-based sports goods company Puma, Watzke has insisted that this is ‘not a marketing move’.
